Fly Fishing Alaska's Tsiu River Lodge with AmericanFlyFishingTravel.com

Sacramento, CA (PRWEB) April 6, 2006

Fly fishing travel to Alaska has always been fly anglers' top destination. At AmericanFlyFishingVacations.com we think it is because fly fishers know that there is no place on earth for great fly fishing like Alaska. Dierick's Tsiu River Lodge is perhaps Alaska's premier Silver Salmon destination and they are now listed with AmericanFlyFishingTravel.com.

AmericanFlyFishingTravel.com just completed a listing agreement with Dierick's Tsiu River Lodge, to serve as web portal for their lodge services. The Tsiu (pronounced sigh-u) River is located on the Gulf Coast of Alaska 80 miles east of Cordova, and 106 miles west of Yakutat. The Tsiu River Lodge lies at the base of the Wrangle Mountains.

Silver salmon fishing is at its best from mid-August through mid-October, and there is a small steelhead run during May and September. During the peak of the salmon run you will see and catch unbelievable numbers of Silver Salmon in the 6 to 20 pound range - fresh and bright, right out of the Gulf of Alaska, as they migrate near the lodge.

The Tsiu River Lodge consists of a large cookhouse and lounge area where our clients are served Alaskan sized meals. There are always fresh baked breads available.

There are six comfortable guest cabins with full bath and showers. They have a large building that contains the crew showers, bathrooms, storage room, and laundry. They have three powerful generators that assure continuous power for our camp. Tsiu River Lodge has a good sized heated drying room where our clients can hang their waders and rain gear. There is a 16' X 32' recreation building where clients can watch videos on a television, tie flies, play cards or just visit and relax.

Tsiu River Lodge is surrounded by many moose, and black and brown bear, sea otter, seals, and sea lions. Hiking around the area will bring you as close to nature as you can expect in Alaska.
